Junior Interior Designer

Elle Du Monde is seeking a full-time Junior Interior Designer to join our in-house team located in Atlanta, GA. This candidate will work closely to assist our Project Managers on residential design and construction projects. Our residential projects are a mixture of new construction, renovations, and soft goods. Each project varies in complexity, timeline, and scope.

Executing beautiful, successful homes for our clients is our top priority. Ideal candidates for this role are passionate about residential architecture and design, and are exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.

Primary responsibilities

• Assisting designers with selections of materials, furnishing, lighting, etc.

• Picking up and returning items to and from local showrooms, our studio, and clients.

• Assisting the construction process and visiting job sites.

• Creating drafting documentation in Revit and AutoCad.

• Working on-site for client home installations.

• Communicating with vendors, project managers, and clients regarding purchases, scheduling, installations, etc.

• Opening and processing orders.

• Maintain client notebooks.

• Organizing and maintaining our studio resource library.

• Generating digital presentations.

Qualifications

• BFA in Interior Design from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in CAD & Revit

• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.

• 0-3 Years of Experience

• Proficiency in Photoshop is a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in Quickbooks is a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in Google Drive is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Availability to work in office full time

• Ability to visit construction sites and client homes.

• Valid driver's license and transportation, must be comfortable driving in Atlanta.

Salary Range

• $50-$55k commensurate with experience, plus benefits

Additional Information

• Elle Du Monde is located in Atlanta, GA, and employees are required to travel to jobs as needed.

• Office hours are 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

• Benefits include health insurance, 401k program, mileage reimbursement, maternity leave, 10 days flex PTO, PTO from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, and 6 additional paid holidays.
