Interior Designer

Elle Du Monde is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our in-house team located in Atlanta, GA. This candidate will work closely with the Lead Designer to execute construction based projects and maintain project timelines. This role is responsible for executing builder projects including spec. homes and custom builds, as well as working on in-house construction based design projects.

Each project varies in complexity, timeline, and scope. Executing beautiful, successful homes for our clients is our top priority. Ideal candidates for this role are passionate about residential architecture and design, and are exceptionally organized and detail oriented.

Primary Responsibilities

• Selections of materials, furnishing, lighting, plumbing, etc.

• Leading client and builder communication

• Overseeing the construction process and visiting job sites

• Communicating effectively and proactively with builders, contractors, and subcontractors

• Creating drafting and construction documentation in Revit and AutoCad for as-builts, proposed plans, electrical plans, interior elevations, etc.

• Generating digital presentations

• Generating project schedules including finishes, plumbing, lighting, orders, etc.

• Guiding junior designers with construction based projects.

Qualifications

• BFA in Interior Design from an accredited institution

• 2-5 Years of Experience

• Proficiency in CAD & Revit

• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents

• Proficiency in Quickbooks

• Proficiency in Google Drive

• Proficiency in Photoshop is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Availability to work locally in Midtown Atlanta at our studio

• Valid driver's license and means of transportation, must be comfortable driving in Atlanta

• Ability to visit construction sites and client homes

Salary Range

$50-$55k commensurate with experience, plus benefits

Additional Information

• Elle Du Monde is located in Atlanta, GA, and employees are required to travel to jobs as needed.

• Office hours are 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
